Gallipoli Home is located in the heart
of Auburn due to its proximity to the mosque, public transport, and the communities that we seek to service.
We are a community space where old age can be celebrated, where elders can contribute and where children can keep their promises.
For every elder there is a Rahma Partner who can speak English, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Farsi, Urdu and many other languages.
Gallipoli Home offers many services including podiatry, optometry, physiotherapy, hairdressing, beauty therapy, massage therapy and our own onsite cafe. Even your medicines will be delivered to us so you do not have to source out many of the services you need.
To move to Gallipoli Home, you will need to consult with and be assessed by an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) in order to establish the level of care required. To arrange for a health professional to visit and complete the assessment, call My Aged Care directly on 1800 200 422.
The Federal Government subsidies the cost of residential aged care, but residents also pay fees and charges, depending on their income and assets. To access subsidised care, you will need to have an income and assets assessment done by Centrelink.
We strongly encourage you to obtain independent professional advice on the options most advantageous to your financial wellbeing.
The Income and asset assessment can be accessed online at humanservices.gov.au/forms and selecting Aged Care Calculation of your cost of care. You can get an estimate of the amount you may be asked to pay towards your residential aged care by going to www.myagedcare.gov.au and searching for ‘fee estimator’.
We have dedicated team members that are available to answer any questions you or your family may have. Whether your questions relate to the ACAT assessment, income and assets assessment or the life at Gallipoli Home, we have you covered!
